POSITION: Residential Sales Representative
LOCATION: Langley B.C.
REPORTS TO: General Manager / Sales Manager

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The incumbent for this position will be part of our dedicated sales and dispatch team that provides relevant advice and superior customer service. The person will ensure quick responses to customer calls to provide technical support, standard quotations, and written proposals for customer needs and specifications. The position requires the successful candidate to have a vehicle to conduct outside sales calls and job site inspections.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/CHALLENGES
Estimating concrete needs for projects by examining job sites, contract drawings and specifications for quotation purposes, and preparing quotations to contractors and project managers based on our company marketing demands.
Provides written and verbal quotations for standard, modified and customized mix designs based on information provided by the customer.
Liaises between the customer and all internal operations on the progress of sales orders and deliveries. Provide onsite co-ordination and supervision; enforce the Company Health and Safety Responsibilities and any other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
After work hours may be required to meet deadlines including attending events to build customer relationships and enhance VRM exposure in the industry.

QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably a Diploma or Technical College and/or equivalent education/work experiences.
Understanding of mix designs and concrete technology, knowledge of manufacturing of concrete techniques and construction industry will be considered an asset.
Two to three year’s previous experience in the concrete industry.
Strong interpersonal communication, effective written and oral skills, above average computer skills including Word, Excel, & Outlook and CRM system (OnePage or similar).
Proactive thinker, self-starter and problem solver with a proven ability to multi-task. must possess solid organizational skills, strong attention to detail with a strong and professional work ethic. Must have the ability to achieve success and generate results both on their own as well as through teamwork.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Solicits, sells, promotes and services existing and prospective accounts.
Assists the Credit Department in the collection process.
Work closely with dispatch and driver team.
Manage deliveries and drivers on all job sites.

POSITION: Concrete Pump Operator
LOCATION: 8155 92 St Delta, BC V4G 0A4
REPORTS TO: Drivers Supervisor

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Concrete Pump Operator has experience with boom pump machinery, while ensuring that all safety measures and precautions are considered. This is a physically demanding role requiring dexterity and the desire to work outdoors.   Reporting to the Drivers Supervisor, the Concrete Pump Operator has excellent mechanical aptitude and an exceptional safety focus.

In this role, the Concrete Pump Operator will work on jobs sites, but will be based out of our Delta or Langley BC locations.

DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES

• Set up and rig the pump truck.
• Drive and operate the pump truck safely.
• Maintain equipment by doing daily Pre and Post trip inspections.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour and spread materials.

• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
• Assist heavy equipment operators as required.
• Communicate with site personnel, 3rd party service providers and team.

• Perform preventative maintenance, and perform general repairs as needed.

• Communicate with company mechanics to ensure equipment & truck are maintained in top condition.
• Comply with all safety regulations.

• Follow all aspects of YAAT policies and procedures.
• Have exceptional on time attendance and accountability to daily schedule.
• Other duties as required by the business.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with a clean drivers’ abstract is required.
• Experience in the concrete industry running line pumps or boom pumps is required. Specific training will be provided.
• Solid understanding of concrete pump safety.
• Understanding of concrete and mix designs (slump characteristics) is preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Ability to work well with others on a large construction site and conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the yard in Delta / Langley.
• Ability to work under stress and maintain self-control under stressful circumstances.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This job is physically demanding, requiring the individual to be capable of standing, walking, bending, and stooping eight to ten hours a day in all seasons.

This is a full-time, hourly position in an extremely high-paced environment that will require overtime and weekend work.
